auto to manual

i have a 02 protege es auto and i want to change it to manual w/o buying a whole new car. is this possible to? if so how much do you think it will cost

new transmission, probably new corssmembers and mounts, and every thing after the tranny i.e. drive shaft, not too familiar with the underpinnigs of these cars compared to my old one, but considering what it'd cost for labor (i'm assuming by your question you aren't plannin on doin it yourself) i'd just find a manual car and trade cars

Unless you plan on keeping the car for a while, I would just try to sell/trade it for a manual.

ohh man thanks, but i would probably get ***** on shipping becuase im in houston, plus we got a billion junk yards and pick a parts here im sure id be able to pull the entire tranny plus everything at once without worrying about shipping.
