Arden, your rings were probably from the first batch that DaveB made. The rings I've got and I assume coldie has as well fit really snug. He mentions in his installation video that the first batch did occasionally fall off, but that he fixed it second time round.

i was planning on getting a throttle body from corksport shortly anyway...

i got my bezel from ebay in the US a while ago for around US$20 shipped. they're going for US$8.50+shipping on ebay now.
it doesn't fit exactly, if you look closely there are gaps at the top and sides and they required a bit of filing to get the edges smooth, but overall i'm happy with it. it stays on with double sided tape. pretty easy to install, there's detailed instructions in the how-to section.
the rings are from daveb's 2nd batch and yes they do fit tight!
so tight that i really had to lean on them to get them to sit properly, so theres no chance of them coming off. and they fit on top of the bezel, no problems.

I dunno about the brushed aluminum bezel with the aluminum rings and white dials, seems like to much aluminum. I reckon carbon fibre bezle with brushed or chromed rings would look good with the white dials.
