ATP inlet pipe kit NO GO***

Atp wont fit unless you do some of your own fitting..... I tried it with the MSCAI and the COBB SRI both a no go. Also the angles are all off they dont provide enough silicone tubing and send the wrong size(I.D.). I called them and they sent me 2' of extra tube but the angles are all off as well as the (I.D. of the tubing for stock fitment) for the stock BPV placement. I think its more suited for there FMIC kit as it moves the location of the BPV. The kit was just not designed for stock fitment ITS GOING BACK!

Has anyone done a before and after test with one of these? Definitely not sounding like its worth 275 if its a 'custom' install.

I know there is one member who has it working with the COBB only they had to tuck the cob 45deg elbow inside the ATP inlet cause it wont fit around it; I have tried to ask about the gains but no response. I ordered it with there elbow but there inlet sits on a higher angle this making it useless trying to fit a CAI or SRI set up. Cobb would have worked if I ditched the bracket but even then the filter was a tight squeeze. That plus the other fitment with the BPV dump tube and breather tube angle :( just not good!

Sucks because I really wanted it to work and get back to you guys with the gains :(... The stock piece is horrible so if someone can get this right it should yield good power. Oh and the inlet pipe is huge and heavy CF would be a better choice

yeah i like mine and it was pretty easy to get fit but i did so many mods at the same time i have no idea on gains

So what did you wind up doing about the ATP inlet to Cobb SRI fitment issue? I would love to get one of these, but with all the negative reports (just like the FMIC fitment), I don't know. I really don't want to ditch the Cobb intake.....

You have to ditch the blue Cobb silicone coupler and use the ATP 45* coupler. Then you have to modify the Cobb MAF housing braket a little. It fits but is real tight.
I just posted my ATP inlet pipe kit 4 sale in the parts section. It didn't bolt up to the stock air box like I wanted but it did bolt up fine and fit were it is suposed to. You *HAVE* to take the battery box out to make this install simple. I am going to do a heads up post in a bit. I have no PICs though and I know people will be mad at that.
Like nypest said too. The upper breather hose needs to be a tad longer but, I made some thing up with 3/4" hose that slides into the 1" hose and needs to be ther anyway so the stock elbow off the stock air tube fits snug. Then that lines up perfectly. The bottom BPV tube is not bad. You have to use the small section of silcone tube they sent and then some of your stock tube. What ATP fails to give you is a coupler to mate the two...which I baught. Again, 3/4" hose slides into the 1" hose tight. Then a few hose clamps and your done.

Yeah way too many fitment tweaks for a $300 part and the quality of the part is not the best it could be. I had high hopes for it but i am going to wait for a better solution.

I did speak to ATP's Tec for about 20 min and we went over the issues at hand and he did agree with me that the kit needed a little wk for aftermarket SRI and stock BPV placement, they even sent me 2 extra feet of there silicone tubing free to see if I could get it to work. I could have yes, but like I said b4 I would much rather have a kit that fits rather then a kit that I "make" fit. We agreed that it was more meant to work with there FMIC kit. They were very understanding about having the product returned (as they should be)

With all that said the Install was not hard at all I had the car apart in about 30 min (YES YES you need to remove the batt tray makes life easy)
