Im not saying thats what his school is ,since its a college.. not a cath school or such, im just going off.. Cuz I feel like being a controversial son of a b.
jersey_emt said:Agreed. I have no problem with parents sending their children to Catholic/Christian grammar schools & high schools. But once they are adults, they are expected to make their own decisions based on their own morals, not be forced to make decisions based on forced moral values.
You can only shelter your children for so long. Continue this into their adulthood and their college education, and you take the very real risk of negatively affected their future life in the 'real world.'

SpicyMchaggis said:What's worse is the farther your read the more horrified you become. They have policies outlawing several constitutional rights. Of course this place is in virginia, where the people are just stupid enough and in the bible belt where this could fly. It's worth the trip up there just so I can do lawn jobs throwing bricks through windows listening to gg allin.

Bwahahahaha!!!!!
jersey_emt said:PLEASE tell me you are joking. That's just ******.
sidpro5 said:Dude, if I ever even walked IN THE DOOR, they would douse me with holy water and break into some anti-demonic chant. I wouldn't be suprised if they tried to put a stake through my heart, or chased me around with sterling silver crucifixes. I mean, c'mon! I AM THE ANTI-LIBERTY! At the rate I drop the f-bomb, I put most truckers to shame. Drunken sailor on shore leave? Puhlease! They ain't got nothin'. You've heard of depraved, right? Well, you've hung out with it and driven with it too. Muahahahahahaha.

chuyler1 said:I know this was discussed on the previous page but I wanted to add that I think there are three types of people that attend such a college as Liberty.
1) The ones who's parents are trying to punish them.
1) The ones who's parents are still trying to shelter them.
2) The ones who see this college as the only sane place to go because they were sent to Catholic/Christian grammar schools & high schools and do not know the alternate reality that we call the real world. AKA, they have been sucessfully brainwashed by their parents and want nothing to do with a real college campus.
I say brainwashed but I guess there is nothing wrong with that type of life. If they were raised in that kind of environment then this college is not a far stretch for them. More power to them for choosing spiritual life over binge drinking and orgies. We are just looking at it from the wrong point of view.
