Are there any CX5 owners who have NO hood shake?

At what speeds or conditions are the " hood & mirror" shake noticeable?
At highway speeds both the side mirror and the hood shake, but again, not enough to bother me. And when the stereo is cranked the side mirror also shakes - the rear view mirror as well, but that is more common on other vehicles as well.

Late 2012 build (Oct 2012 iirc) 2013 GT model. No hood shake here, though very slight driver side mirror shake. 11k rough NYC turd road miles.

No hood shake on 2013 sport with 28k miles or 2014 Touring with 8k miles. Drivers side mirror does vibrate on highway for both but not passenger side. I didn't notice the mirror shake though until I read it on the forum after thousands of miles of driving.

Mirror seems to shake from wind gusts the most at highway speeds.
The hood shakes on uneven pavement, potholes or even bridge joints. Can shake at slow speeds as well.

I've got 14k on mine and have never seen it. My 67 Shelby's hood would bow up at high speed, I shim'd the back up to let the air escape and the nose settled down. Never saw anyone say they wouldn't buy a Shelby because of it's problems!

Last night I took a SEAT taxi to the airport, the drummming inside was awful but the Spainards still buy them.

My mirror tends to noticeably shake once you get over 65 or 70, sometimes it's a little bit, other times is hard to identify what make/model of car is next to you. The hood is a little different. Sometimes it's alright and it's just very slight movements, but if I'm driving into a headwind it becomes pretty noticeable. I'm gonna try and get them to fix the mirror one more time, but I'm starting to get used to it. The hood is annoying, but not enough to get them to start digging around unless Mazda comes out with a TSB for it. Neither of them are what I would consider serious issues though and if it's all that goes wrong with the car I'll be a happy camper.

The only thing that shakes is ME, when I put my foot to the floor and keep it there!

haha good one!

My hood does not shake, and my CX-5 has seem some extended high speed cruising and extremely bumpy roads (not at the same time)
My mirrors do vibrate on the freeway (not as noticeable on the passenger side), and it is annoying and a little bit of a safety issue as it requites a slightly longer glance to accurately estimate the distance and speed of the cars/bikes I see in it.

I have a 2014 CX-5 and it has both problems. A few months ago the dealer balanced the wheels and said that fixed the problems, which it did not. Yesterday they adjusted the hood stops and ordered a part for the mirror. The work order implied that there is a TSB for the mirror shaking although I don't know if that's the 2013 TSB or a new 2014 TSB. Haven't had a chance to road test the car to see if the hood still shakes but I wouldn't be surprised if that problem isn't fixed. Seems like the hood shaking defect that affected the 2013s is still in the 2014s and the best way to fix it is to apply the 2013 TSB.

I don't have any shakes. No complaints here on build quality. But I have to look twice before a lane change for a blind spot.
