Are the MazdaSpeed springs better than the stock P5 springs?

I'm looking into getting some tokico HP struts with an AWR rear sway bar (19mm or 21.5mm?? not sure yet). Mazdastuff.com had the Mazdaspeed lowering kit springs for 2003 Protege. I have no intention of lowering my car so since they only lower your car about 3/4 inch, this would be ideal for me. Since I'll be changing struts I might as well consider stiffer springs.

How much stiffer are these springs than the stock P5 springs? Do they fit in the P5? Does it make a big difference in handling? is it worth it? where can I find the best price on them?

Thanks,

i put springs from a mazdaspeed on my protege5 and totally f*ed up the ride and broke some suspension pieces. my recommendation for those that want an msp like ride is to go to racingbeat.com and buy thier protege springs as they are the ones who designed the msp springs to begin with
