I had a lot of fun this weekend.I saw some rare cars,got to go on the track and met a lot of cool people.I definatly be at next years.Expect to see more of this miata(as well as the owner )around town and at future meets.

I was leading the pack and wasnt quite sure if that was miata only parking or mazda parking. Found out later that it was the latter but by then we were heading over to spectator hill anyway

What a blast. I took the Green Turd out on the track for some Touring Laps. Needless to say, the rest of the day seemed pretty boring. We have some video from my friend Patricks car and it doesn't do it justice. The first time around the Track I was like this..(omg) but I calmed down and speed up a little almost every lap. The best was when an S2000 tried to take the uphill, offcamber left after the esses as fast as me and went around...missing the wall by maybe a foot. I was riding behind a Corvette for a few laps and that was pretty exciting too. He was having as much fun out there as I was. I will post up some videos soon. Wow...Just Wow.

Pretty cool watching you two zipping around the track. Next year my Speed needs to be out there too!

we were walkin up to spectator hill when we heard that s2k go around and caught a peek throught the bushes. That was pretty damn funny.

Yeah...his GF was riding shotgun and was holding a camera up over the windshield. I bet there was a lot of shaking and cussing going on as they went around. I was laughing my butt off once I saw that it looked like they didn't hit the wall. You can't hang with me Honder. LOL! I was really getting it a few times coming down through the esses and into that turn. That was a ton of fun.

Did anyone see what happened to the benetton? It was completely dominating, then with a few laps to go it stopped lapping. Did it crash or just retire?

I am assuming u are talking about the mild seven F1 car putting down the 1:12 lap times? if so the engine died some where on track it limped its way up the hill to turn 11 and entered the pits

after seeing that f1 car, my dad now wants to go to the U.S. Grand Prix this summer. I can't imgaine what those cars are like since there is a 12 year difference between them!!

it retired. It didn't sound like it was having engine trouble, but it came through the turn 10 complex really slowly. Electronic / hydraulic problems maybe? I dunno, those F1 engines are pretty finniky (sp??)

looks like you guys had a good time, sorry I missed it. I was thinking about it as I was riding jetskis/ scooters, snorkling/ swimming/ playing volleyball and drinking/ eating in the Bahamas.
