ApexI USA and the Mazdaspeed Protege

As some of you know ApexI USA was looking for a test speed. Appears that the speed is going to get the backburner till next year. The car is on their "secondary list" here's a snippet:

I just talked to the Exhaust R&D dept. and unfortunately it didnt make

the first round cut. They are looking only at the Primary list to

complete by end of this year. If they are ahead of schedule then they

can work on the Secondary list. The Mazdaspeed Protg in on this list.

Sorry guys! I know you were all looking forward to some new products but with all the new "mass production" cars it looks like we'll be getting the back burner, at least for now.

I will keep everyone updated as best as possible as the person at ApexI that I have spoken with is good friends with my good friends so ...

I figured I would let everyone know that was waiting on the answer as to what ApexI USA was going to bring us.

If i was trying to make money i'd do it for a honda (ricer) too. It take a true car person to make mods for our car.... You heard me APEXI... Come on what now...(protest) ... I'm screwing with you... My car is fast enough for me already... Any faster and i'd lose my license for street racing all the time.

I am sure these big firms take a look at the production numbers and say ok, roughly 10-15% of these car buyers will try to upgrade the performance. Someone has to let them know that there are 4750 MSPs out there and 90% of 'em are going to be modified! So build us sh*t!
