Anyone hiring around the NOVA area?

If you don't recall I was laid off in Dec last year and have been working two jobs since then (80hrs a day)
Had a few leads here and there and interviews but nothing yet.

Wondering if anyone knows if their company is hiring, I'll take anything! But my degree is in Computer Science, database or general office clerk skills. I can PM you a resume if it would help etc.

If not then I will eventually move back to Fredericksburg so I can just work one job and still get by. This is one option I really don't want to do, but the 80hrs (18-20 a day) is taking its toll with no free time or sleep etc.

I'll clean and wax your car for a whole year I'll be your car's own personal servant.

Working at Blockbuster as a Manager like I do in the evenings up here, or perhaps another retail place.

I am not set firm on moving back in with my parents and would like to greatly avoid it. But my body aches to all hell and worst is this growing chest pain which I really don't like, plus I got gray hair poping out like crazy.

You can have mine in, oh, 2 or 3 months. I'm the IT guy and webmaster (and office gimp. Small office = people multitasking constantly here) for a non-profit in Alexandria.

I have a Bachelors in Economics, and I've worked in the financial sector for 4 years, but I get more offers for my tech skills, since I've fiddled with computers for the last 10 years. But I want back into finance.

Cool bly, thanks. I've been sending in dozens via USAJOBs and the Fort Bel. website. I have a BS in Computer Science and Associates in Information Systems, though no real work experiance expect 3yrs of database admin and access/sql programming. Gets touchy when I apply and others apply that have more experiance. I'm tempted in moving to another field since really there isn't anything I can't do when I apply myself like I do in every job.

Haha, no, sorry. I have a system in place where two of my co-workers get me coffee on a daily basis since my ass is almost always glued to this chair.

I don't have a Protege anymore to guard, but I've been paranoid lately of these neighborhood kids on summer vacation hitting a ball into my Spec. You could jump in front of approaching projectiles, like an auto Secret Service.

Well that varies, do I get board and room? This does not have to mean house, but can include living inside car. etc.

Food can be left overs, so basically I just need money to pay for my baby (car) and thats it.....now if you require me to risk live and limb for some tree limb then I require atleast 60k for hazardous work conditions.

Yo Rob...A lady I work with has a contact (her son) at the GAO in D.C. Her son is moving up pretty fast and may be able to help. PM me for details on where to send your resume. She said she'd be more than happy to pass it along for consideration. With Federal jobs, it's sometimes a matter of who you know. I just hope it helps!
