Anyone else have trouble finding a comfortable seating position? (MS3)(tall/big)

My last three cars in 12 years were RX-7's and even though I'm 6'6" 240lbs. I was always comfortable, even when others couldn't believe I could even get in or out of those low to the ground beauties. Anyhow, I had a problem with my right knee hurting for a while too, but after driving for a couple of months with the MS3 I don't even notice it any more. My steering wheel is full out and up, seat is full down and back w/ lumbar full out. Wallet is in left pocket.

I'm only 5'6'' but it took me forever to find the right seating position. When I could get the seat right, I couldn't reach the top of the stearing wheel easly. I felt like I was streatching for it.

However, now I got it all worked out (took about 2 weeks though) and I could not be happier. I know I'm not 6'4'' 200+ but I just wanted you to know its just not the tall/big guys haveing an issue.

Edit: Oh I forgot. There is one thing that still pisses me off about the seating. Its when the wife drives the car and she is 5'2 and adjusts the seat 0.o

The first week of ownership I thought I'd made a mistake. After reading some threads here, I changed to sit more forward on this car than any I've previously owned. I also have to keep my legs straight and less bent/splayed to the sides, which was a more natural position for me. A few weeks later I did not notice my 6'4" 180 pound frame having issues anymore, and have since logged many longs days (10 hours plus during a cross country road trip) in comfort. It seems the seats/car have fewer options for me, and it took me while to find the right position. I feel like this car has made me relearn many things I took for granted over the last 17 years of driving, even something as basic as sitting.

After years of sea kayaking in skinny boats that fit like jeans I have learned that many leg issues are caused (for me, anyway) by not having my thighs adequately supported.

ymmv

The seat isn't uncomfortable to me (I'm about 5'6" and 140lbs), but I have looked at the pedals more than once and thought "those are too far to the right."

I am 6'5" 245 lbs, and I am quite comfy. My right leg is quite tight against the console, but it was worst in my previous S4, and I was even more cramped in a Subaru Legacy GT that I test drove, and in both cars I had less head/legroom. It gets a little tiring driving slow while pressing the accelerator, but to me, that is no big deal. I have my seat all the way down, not even all the way back (maybe even halfway), and the wheel all the way top and out.

I'm 6'5 as well, only about 190 though. I actually don't mind resting my leg against the center console, and I find the MS3 to be very comfortable to sit in, even on long trips. One guy said the seats encourage you to slouch... not really sure why he says this, I think I slouch much less in this car (not at all) than in my previous car (99 taurus). Just put the seat back relatively straight. This car makes me want to sit correctly when I drive it
