Anybody else's stock exhaust backfire?

Mine backfires occasionally, more often when I downshift when approaching a light or something.

100% stock exhaust. Doesn't really bother me, it's just further indication that I'm still running rich. Just wondering if anybody else's stock exhaust backfires regularly.

Mine is custom exhaust and it backfires when I'm shifting to second gear. My factory exhaust use to produce a poping sound when changing gears.

Yep stock exhaust and it backfires sometimes on hard shifts from 1-2, and downshifts.

mine does on downshifts, only happens when i'm alone, when i try to recreate it ilook like a fool in front of my friends.. tehee, but after the NGK's it doesn't do it as much.

my mazdaspeed muffler backfires sometimes... the stock RB didnt..
ive backfired 7 times since i got the mazdaspeed muffler which one 3 weeks ago..

mine back fires on downshift as well. it did it more when I had the NGK BKR7E's.

are you sure its your exhaust backfiring and not the exhaust pipe hitting your rear crossmember hard during a shift? We do have some soft exhaust hangers btw.

Never backfired stock. Now that I have the CS it does it all the time.
