I bought my MSP about 3 weeks ago and it had a boost leak from the flange for the stop bpv. I decided to replace the pipes with a custom hardpipe kit and use a greddy type s bov. After three days of trial and error i have finally come to a solution. I have been using this setup for a couple of days now with no problems.

After searching throught our forums i found a post about modifying the type s to only have one spring. Basically all you do is take the top off of the bov and take the small spring out of the larger spring and put it back together. I takes like 5 mins at the most.

I have the top nipple on the type s hooked up to the stock bpv source. I then taped into the brake booster line and ran vacuum to the wastegate. I t-ed of of that line and ran it to the bottom nipple on the type s.

I turned up my idle a bit to where it idles at about 900 rpms. I am not sure weather the idle being up helps or not. I just havent had a chance to turn it back down. I turned it up to see if it would help with another trial i did. I recommend trying it this way without turning it up first and if it doesnt work then turn it up a bit.

You still get a little bit of turkey but only at really low boost.
