Way off. If the BOV was leaking, the MAF would measure more air than was reaching the engine, which means more fuel than needed, which means RICH!

Driving your car hard does not constitute warranty denial! Whoever said that sounds exactly like the Mazda Warranty claims dept. Stop and go traffic is hard on your car so if you daily drive your car you would void your warranty if this was the case. So everyone whos floored their car voided their warranty. Another thing this thread sounds like the wrx forum where one guy was narced by another forum member to all the local dealerships about how he really blew his engine. If he did blow his engine b/c he ****** it up, that's his problem not yours. He got it fixed more power to him.

I think that's where some of us to have an issue. If he did something wrong and blew his engine up, then Mazda has to pay for something that they shouldn't. In the end, we only pay more because of other people's dishonesty. So I guess anyone ******* up their engine and then having Mazda pay for it is my problem. More power to him, less money for me

I agree- in fact, I bet Mazda comes out on top thanks to all the people it has screwed. Even with the occaisional person taking advantage of Mazda, Mazda takes advantage of way more people.
