I suppose it's worth it if your car is a labor of love and money is (almost) no object, but yeah...for that much, I think I'll pass for now.

A true complete package supercharger solution is expensive, but typically worth it. One of the guys I autocross with bought a 12k S2000 and put a 13k supercharger kit on it. It was a true plug-and-play solution, but you pay for the convenience. It's still cool to see this stuff offered, however.

That puts the 2's supercharger kit price into perspective. It's an awesome kit and I would really like to do it, but I can't sink that much money into the car at the moment.

Like anything is it worth it to you.

If that is aimed at me, you're probably right. :P

I was just talking out loud. I had about 12k into my 323GTX before I sold it years ago. It was probably not worth it but it made me happy so who knows.

323 GTX = always been a dream for me. Love those things. I see an orange one here in SE a few times a year...

The more I look into it, the more I think it might be worth the investment. For the time being, I'm more concerned about keeping my warranty than adding any power. But in a year or two? Who knows? If I still have the car, I may do it then :D

I don't know. Still seems priced pretty high. I guess I'm just thinking that if I went with the supercharger I would pick up all the parts and do it myself, perhaps with help from Dynotronics on the tune. You know, in like 5 years when I can afford it.:(

It is a tad bit pricey. When I consider I have a shop willing to make me a custom supercharger kit for a bit under $4k with the potential to hand out some nasty number this does not seem nearly as inciting lol.

Even with the price, I find the HKS supercharger kit ... intriguing. Unlikely but still intriguing. Thanks for posting.
