Annoying Beeping

I love my CX-5 and this seems like such a small issue - but it drives me nuts. Why in the world does it beep when you raise or lower the volume with the steering wheel controls??!! I can't find any way to turn that off. Makes no sense to me.

You can turn it off, it was the first thing I did when I got my 5 and 3. You have to push the audio select button until you find the option, you know the one that goes Treble, Bass, AVLC, Fade, etc. you'll see an option for Beep.

Found it - thank you! I don't know why I didn't see that before. I even looked for a way to shut that off. Now my car is perfect...

Even with the menu option turned off, mine still beeps when I hold it - but only once.

Yeah, I haven't figured out the reason for that. Unless they think someone is going to forget they are holding down the volume control button and wonder why it is getting louder and louder.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has it still beep even with it turned off in options. Thought mine was screwed up since my door lock/unlock chirp is faulty as well.

I forgot it did that... turned it off before we left the dealer.
