amp problem

okay i hooked up my amp to the power i havent yet hooked up the stereo but the amp aint lighting up nor working?
what is wrong can anyone tell me?

but when i connnect ground it sparked and its still good so what can it be i have new cable kit and all im lost

i have only amp connected to power cables but it doesnt light up its an interfire amp
so i have to hook up the control wire before its has power?
and how do i take out stock player i have converter for an amp plugs audio i have to install for which wires also?

Yes. Your remote wire is what makes the amp come on.
