I am in the process of purchasing a new Mazda 3s strato blue sedan. Sticker priced at 17825. I have finally brought the dealer down to 17500 OTD. Let me know if thats good...or if i should hold out some more. Thanx in advance for any help. I am very excited to be a new mazda 3 owner and member of this forum.

a little more info is needed to determine this... such as is tax included? where do you live, model of car, any options on the car...

all said and done on mine i paid $31000 cdn (drive away price)

drive away price on mine would be 17500. Im getting a 3s with no extra options.

I would say thats a good price then. If it includes all taxes and such.

On mine i also went for the 7 year extended warrenty.

Try Edmunds.com

If u try edmunds.com they will give u the invoice on the car, the msrp, and what other people are paying for the car on average. U can pick the car down to a T, including all ur options and it will let u know what u may want to shoot for.

My msrp was 20,499 and I talked them down to 19,300. so u can do some negotiating.

i finally got my car on wednesday....msrp was 17855 before taxes and all that jazz...i brought them down to 16400 before taxes 17500 drive away...and i love my new car.

From invoice to msrp , not much difference/mark-up between them, kinda odd'

We got ours Base S model 5spd 16" wheels like $16,800 range'

If we wanted fully loaded I could of got like a couple hundred over invoice , but we didn't want to spend $18k range' or $19k whichever it was..
