Alternatives?

Did you previously agree to it and sign the contract as well?

It wasn't mentioned during the deal.
It was lined up along the mandatory fees only found out when I read something on Unhaggle. Newbie mistake.
Unfortunately, I did sign it.

No way would I take delivery of this car. You can still walk man, it doesn't matter what you signed.

Stealerships suck, but this one sounds like the sketchiest I've ever heard of. Bounce baby, bounce...

yeah, no in way in hell they can make it "mandatory" to buy an extended warranty or care care package. those sneaky bastards, they always tack that s*** on at the end.

I did the extended warranty which took the bumper to bumper from 3 years/36k miles to 5 years/100k miles. That only cost $1,200 and all it will take is one of the new tech things on this car going bad to make that cost more than worth it.

As far as the other stuff, thought about it but declined and am going to instead spend $750 or so on clear bra for the front bumper, partial hood and fenders to prevent rock chips. The front end of these cars is so blunt that I am imagining chips EVERYWHERE.

100% this. Extended warranty is optional.

At the end, we got Silent Sentinel taken off the bill of sale.

I will be doing my maintenance schedules at a different dealership though.
The formed distrust was just too much for a first time buyer.

And to close this thread, we're doing Xpel and Krown this month.

Smart man...

The XPel is the best PPF on the market IMO, so let us know what you think...
