seeing that shot of the car im really hating the new eclispse-esque a-pillar design... and those angles with the front fender flares look like ass in my opinion, might just be the angle, either way, im glad im first gen

The Eclipse has hands down the worst A Pillar design of all time. (The Civic tried to unseat it but somehow pulls it off.) I don't buy the fact that the side mirrors would be renderered useless if put where they belong... Sit in an Eclipse and imagine them where they belong and they'd totally work.

So yeah... Mitsu dropped the ball hard on that one. Other than that, the overall look of the car is pretty cool. (once they finally fixed the catfish grille) But I could never get past the damn a-pillar/side mirror debacle.

THIS car on the other hand... I just don't see the connection. The a-pillars are the least of its probilems.


Having seen a new 6 the other day... I can imagine the absurdity of the rear lights/coffee tables... seriously mazda, wtf are you doing? Those lights suck balls... the tiny little tailpipes suck ass... and the ridiculously fugly grille sucks ass and balls at the same time. If Mazda fixed these (easily fixable) details... they'd have themselves one hell of a car.

i think the front sort of looks like the toyota celica. headlight design and wheel flare. also....looks like they went with the aftermarket front lip style that everyone was doing themselves. even still............
