air/Fuel Gauge hookup?

A/F Gauge

If its an auto meter like mine you'll have 3 wires from the gauge. Black, red, and purple(i think). Obviously black is ground, and red is power. Now the purple one you have to run to the O2 sensor on the exaust manafold. For my MX6 ther are 4 wire coming from the sensor, black, blue, green/black, and yellow. If yours is the same hook it up the yellow wire and you should be all set.

hey do you have a type of FI setup on your car or is your AF gauge just for looks? when i put mine in it will be just for looks till i get turbo

I have an autometer on my MP3 and it will be used for my turbo. But I am noticing that people are saying it is more for looks anyway. It is not really accurate. Ooh yeah I like your MX-6 P-diddy, it looks really tight.

Thats the purple wire coming off of the A/F guage right. If this is the wire that you are talking about it goes to a wire that is pink and blue.

Ok look at your O2 sensor, trace the wires back to the connector harness. On the other side of the connector harness you need to pull the black tape back and you willthen be able to locate the pink and blue wire. That is the wire that you tap into.

At first it was for looks, but nwo that Ive upgraded my fuel system i actually pay attention to it. Plus too hopefully soon I'll put a turbo in it....hopefully
