Don't do it....

well we wont be identical twins...mine are 9.5" front and rear, i need at least an 8mm to clear the strut, or i may just grind it down a little. What do you guys think? i dont want to compromise the structual integrity of the mount...

the very edge of the wheel doesnt touch, its the part that curves up into it

Hey guys, any idea if I can run some BC Racing Coilovers with the 17x8 +35 rims and 235 tires without problems? Thinking bout buying them with the tax money...

Technically you can/could grind off some from the base of coilover just don't overdo it .

It most likely would work, after all thats what I'm planning and I have BC's standing by to be installed too but the tire/rim are a bit far in schedule.

lol im not putting them on soon, i have to buy some 10mm hubcentric spacers and 205/45 tires first.

and yes, FOR THE RECORD: KAUAI DID HAVE THEM FIRST, i really hate to do it man, but for the deal i got on them it would have been dumb NOT to buy them, plus mine are already 5x114.3.
Im prob gonna end up painting them so people dont notice we have the same wheels

@justanother
when you mount your tires on, you think youll rub your spring locks?
im gonna be doing some serious stretch, so it shouldnt. I think a 215/40 is the max i could fit, but im going with 205/40 t help clear the fender without doing a pull.

Wow. How much camber is that at? And what's the outside look like lol

0 degrees camber, I cant run any camber because it will hit the strut lol only way to camber it is with camber plates, and looks like Ill have to have some custom ones made since I dont think anybody makes anymore for the protege.
Ill let kauai post outside shots when he gets his on, dont want to take all the shine here.... but i will post pics of the poke.

The poke is identical to my brothers setup (17x8.5 +25)

Looks boss kauai. One question, where did you get the prayforjapan sticker? A friend of mine makes those, never thought they got out of washington.
