I have about .100" clearance from my coilover and the tire in the rear. This is a meaty ass tire very close to the profile of a 235 and very soft so there is quite a bit of tire flex.
Aggressive fitment anyone?!

I know borbet makes 16x9's. Im pretty sure the offset is to agressive to run on a protege. 3 or 2 piece wheels might be your best bet. Check vrwheels, might be your best option.

If it wasn't a "style" you were into, you'd call it ricer.. just sayin
Because the thread title doesn't read: "Hellaflush" and I'd say the widest tire run on anything short of a track car is qualification enough for me.

do it right? theres no right and wrong with this, he couldnt add camber because the tire is so fat, so he rolled the fender

I wish! With the new motor, see my average in my sig. I think about 26.5 mpg. This is over the last year and about 18k miles. Highest I have ever seen was 31mpg all freeway down to LA.
People misconstrue flush with agressive. Flush is sometimes aggressive but hellaflush is sometimes ridiculous. People don't see wide meaty tires and wide stanced offset as aggressive, when it really is
