Aggressive fitment anyone?!

Just measure the outside edge of the wheel to the fender and that's what thickness spacer you need taking into consideration the spacer thickness that is already there and whether you plan on tucking or not.

I have more clearance to my coilovers in the rear than in the front that's weird your backwards from me. I could use a 3mm spacer in the front.

When i had my Tein Springs on Stock Tokiko Shocks i didn't had that problem, only when i added my Tein Super Street. had to add 3mm spacers to avoid wheel hitting the teins.. upfront i haven no spacers at all

I really want to make my MSP look more aggressive and wider by bringing the wheels flusher to the fenders. my 35 tires looks kind of gay the way they are right now..

honestly miguel, I wouldn't be comfortable putting a spacer anywhere near that size in a car you're pulling the power you're planning out of. 3mm, maybe 5, and thats it.

Yeah I second that, if anything just use the site that I posted and grab a tape measure, best way to do it

I just ordered my rims, they'll be here in a few days 18x7.5 +38 I'll be joining the aggressive crew pretty soon :D

I will be interested to see how yours looks. I have 18x7.5 +48 on mine and have considered spacers so I can run a wider tire. I almost touch the strut with my 215's now.

Eh Wagon I'm really feeling your pain with the FD's there just isn't a good selection of 16" tires out there for us. Be careful with the 225/50 combo, I run a 225/45 and have rubbing issues on the fender and wheel liner. I'm also running with the 3mm spacer. Although I am lowered, the tires are an inch smaller in diameter then the 50 series tires.

its been done on the MSP and the tires are really only just a tad wider than the OEM MSP size. Fender clearance is the only possible concern, and I know a local guy with a roller. Remember, the MSP/MP3 had bigger tires on it than the other proteges.
honestly, I'm fine with the tire selection. theres not really anything out there I want that isn't made in this size.

wasnt 808p5 running that exact size? or was he running bigger then that

im talking about the red p5 who used to have MS6 wheels, he changed his name now, not sure to what
but i remember he had huge tires on his FD wheels

I realize that you have taller stock tires but does the MSP/MP3 also have larger fender liners? otherwise it won't really matter what came stock if you have the same amount of room under there.

But I guess at stock rear height you shouldn't have any issues not sure what the spool front drop is as far as lowering goes. My issue have arisen from being lowered.

not uber low by any means

I'm actually contemplating 245/35-16 for my next tire. I'd like to try to test fit with my current suspension just to see if it be possible width wise. Otherwise I'll just wait till I get full coil-overs.

buying ichiba's real soon. Should I go staggered set up (F-15mm/R-20mm)? Or should I go ether 15mm all around or 20mm all around? Any other sizes I should go with?

Yup We talked already. I have no doubt that 225/50 will fit on his car.

Heres a Pic....lol

Question guys: At what point do some of you consider fender rolling an option? I'm just curious b/c as I look at this pic you can see that there is slight rubbing/wearing at points on the tire that looks to be at the same angle as the fender?

you wanna roll when you can feel the tire close enough to the unrolled lip

I ran 215/45's on a 7 inch wheel with +38 offset and it rubbed at stock height/camber with weight in the back

if that gives you an idea

looks like his fenders are already rolled flat to me, my tires had little grooves cut into them from my fenders on corners so i had to roll them flat
if they do rub now, its just that, a rub, no grooves or anything getting cut into my tires lol

Yea they are rolled. They have been rolled since I had my MS6 rims. Usually you know you have to roll them when you test fit the rim. Although I think with these tire I will have to get them pulled also. Its nothing major so I probably wont do it. =) Plus these are just my autox rims.
