if your on windows 7 then you dont need drivers for sure, if your on windows xp then i doubt you need drivers. if your on mac then good luck being compatible with 85% of the world (wiggle)

nope, MAF, well msps do, I dono about MP5s.. so nvm (im tired lol)

not that I'm aware of... I believe if we did, then it would be far easier to diagnose overboost conditions.

both cars have MAP sensors
they are just not used as EMS use MAP sensors
they are used to check vacuum and intake manifold pressures.
both N/A and Turbo cars have them.

im running it in windows 7 in compatibility mode, runs great. but then again compatibility mode is a 700 megabyte download and your basically downloading windows xp and running it within windows 7. but its alright my laptop can handle it. i think compatibility mode is only available in professional and ultimate editions (i get professional for free from my school) so dont try it at home kids unless you do your research.

if i disconnect my battery to reset my ECU does the SplitSecond reset as well? like would i have to reload the map onto the unit? or does it have its own little battery to remember s*** like that.

the ssafc holds the map no matter what you do, until you burn a new one over it.

one thing I did notice though is that the stock supermap that comes with the ssafc when you get it from PG at least, doesn't come with the correct Option settings stuff, so besides when you first get it, and change the settings, but after that you don't have to change it till when you want to

sorry you cant do compatibility mode. you can still try though try right clicking and selecting troubleshoot compatibility.

Ok so I am having some problems getting my computer to connect with my Split second. When I try to connect to the split second it would just time out after the 10 seconds. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

check what com its on, i had the same thing, also if your using windows 7 you need to run it in compatibility mode which as we just went over is only available in windows 7 professional and ultimate editions

I know this question may have been beaten to death, but I'll ask anyway. Which map is best for stock boost level, CAI, hard pipes, upgraded exhaust mani, upgraded smic, upgraded cat-back exhaust and running one cat? Someone with similar mods was told the stock super map was good to run, but they were gettin 10 afrs, which is what I get now without the ssafc. Is there a map modified to have 11-12 afrs?

to be honest, I have no idea. apparently complaints were lodged against me (I believe because I was being a stickler about being on topic), however I didn't bother trying to pursue the issue as it happened the same week that my grandfather passed away. I tried to get it reinstated (primarily to keep this thread updated and navigable) but received no reply from Antoine regarding it.
