AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

I'm going to have to try this map out since we have almost identical mods. Are you running higher than stock boost levels? I am still running the superstock map that came with it.

Im at 7psi. So yea stock boost. When i had the supermap my wideband would show 10s which is too lean. But with this map i get 11.5-11.7.

If I were running a FMIC, SRI, atp WGA and live in CA where it is warm most of the time should I just go with the Supermap or the FMIC map? I am getting a wicked fuel cut @ 4k RPM. and no gauges for AFR or boost.

Just bought one and looking for advice before it gets here so I can be ready for the install! Thanks for the advice!

you will be driving blind without and wideband AFR gauge

Install the wideband to monitor AFRs first; then the SSAFC.

Gauges are the difference between knowing you're tuned well while driving, and going "zoom-zoom-Boom!"

trying to figure out what my issue is. After installing the SS I popped a P0171. Replaced everything that could have caused it with no luck and decided to see if removing the SS would fix the CEL. Sure enough it did. I re installed the SS after about 2 weeks of CEL free driving, only this time I soldered it all in to make sure it wasn't a connection issue. Sure enough the damn P0171 came right back!!!
What on thsi SS is causing the CEL. Is there a value I need to adjust?

I thought 10's are richer than 11's.....

Oh i thought 10s were lean. Isnt at higher rpms where the car leans out. I guess i got a lot to learn. But ive read its good to stay around 11s. But please remember my car is not properly tuned. Im just going to through maps to see which i liked. And the fmicmap is treating me good so far.

Best map is to get a proper tuned map. But Superstockmap or fmic map is good.

P0171 is system too lean. What rpm are you getting it at? You need to add fuel.

When talking about AFR, the lower the number the richer the mixture. It's expressed as a ratio of parts air : parts fuel. With FI you wanna shoot for an 11.8:1 AFR

oh also as rpms climb to near redline it should start to get richer not leaner

hows everyones tune affected by the weather? when it was warmer i got 11.6 at wot and now that its pretty cold im getting 10

It would make sense that the weather would change A/Fs but i have a FMIC and i havent seen a change in my tune at all and its in the 20s in my area.

but for those of you that have datalogged,

So i finally got a laptop and was able to do some data logging.

I was looking at the map and AUX A is my wideband, but the values that it reads is not the same reading of the wideband. Is it maybe reading out in lamba or whatever that other type of A/F reading is? and is there a way to change it?

Also does the SSAFC actually read the % your injectors are running? In the graphs it says injector A and gives a %, just making sure that it reading it and not something else

bump, i can datalog finally but im looking at the A/F graphs and i cant make out anything lol.

I've had to make a winter map and richen everything up a little. When the cold hit...my AFR's got leaner by a full point at some places. It's been a struggle to get some consistency out of this thing.

Like J said...are the values in AUX A been changed? Must be 10 and 2 with a AEM. It might be different coefficents if you run another wideband possibly.

Mine is set like that but the graph is all psycho so I just road tune it and watch the wideband. It's lame.
