AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Does the software work with Vista or Windows 7? Tried on my laptop with W7, but everyime I click "connect to ECU", the r4 software freezes up.

I think its the crappy usb-serial connector. Tried it on my Vista laptop and got the infamous "restart your computer now" blue screen right away when I clicked "connect to ECU". Gotta go out and buy a name brand connector I guess.

I cant for the life of me remember how to upload a map from my pc. Can anybody point me to the posts where people were discussing that? Cant seem to find them.

you mean import/export a map? I'd like to know too, I can't figure it out and couldn't find answers in this thread

Ok I remember now I think...

Save a map from the first page to your pc, name it lets say "SuperMap". Open up r4 sofware, click open customer, select "SuperMap". Connect to ECU. Then click on maps - fuel maps. Once the map pops up, click on "write to ECU" (2nd icon on the left).

Do you all see better mpg with getting the afr's up? It would just be more of a plus for me to get it. Lol.

hey guys i need some help. i have the ssftc and the instructions say to increase the number from 10 to increase fuel and make it richer and it uses the same software as the ssafc which reduces the number to richen the mixture, can someone help fast? i need to know if it was a mistake or not. should i be reducing the number to make it add fuel or should i be increasing the number?

thank ya sir. got it all buttoned up and running last night. i have a long way to go with the tune.

im having issues tuning for partial throttle. i have a clutched supercharger so its not always on so adjusting the tune while still in vacuum is weird. i could tune it to be right for the sc on then be really lean when the sc is off. or vice versa. anyone have any hints?

@ajkulish
as long as you dont touch the below 0psi mark you should not have any troubles with the supercharger off. only edit values above the 1psi mark and thats the fuel map your car will use when its boosted

the issue though is that i can run the sc while in vacuum and it moves a ton of air, so my ecu freaks out and goes to full dump lol

My afc is reading real time rpm's but not real time pressure. What's up with that?
