AFC for the MP3

Yes I am back on the site, just had a couple questions for you guys. My buddy has an MP3 and is getting an afc at a great cost and I was going to see if he is going to have gains with it? When we install it he is going to get it tuned the same day. Has anyone just installed one to a MP3 that is stock and has a CAI on it. What are your alls thoughts on this. Thanks guys.

yes, i have also heard that the do not work on proteges.... but who knows, maybe you can cook something up... good luck

they will not work.. period. If he is investing that much money i recommend the AEM unit being produced by perfworks. He can tune it to. It will show definate gains even on a stock protege and will control almost everything possible on the vehicle.
