^^^ Short Ram is IMO a bad upgrade. There have been members actually loose HP on a Dyno after changing to an "Under Hood" filter set up. Ingen CAI or a similar product is more expensive but It has been proven to be a good aftermarket product that increased HP even if they were minimal HP gains.

Yes the AEM SRS will have a heat shield.
Test fitting will be completed this week for the SRS and the CAS.

The dyno's that were posted are the average of 3 runs. This car was dyno'd on a Mustang dyno. If you want to dyno your car somewhere and post numbers you can go to XS's dynojet, R&D Dyno's Dynojet, Sean Church has a dynopak. These are real gains that were dyno'd on 2 different MSP that were both flashed.

I assume from the name and the posts that you are employed by AEM. Welcome, its good to have some more vendors posting here. Have any pics of the SRI? That's what I'm most interested.
In a turbo application, the power gains shouldn't be much different between the SRI and the CAI given the heat shield on the SRI. A few degrees difference in intake temp. is going to mean very little once its compressed, rammed though the intercooler and forced into the engine, IMHO.

I would have to agree in most turbo intercooled applications, but for the MSP we tried to keep the temp's as cool as possible. Your turbo is mounted closer to the air source and the intercooler size and location are not in the most desirable locations.
Pictures will be posted once the test fit is done.
Availability depends on the test fit.
If all goes well, then you could expect them to be on the shelves in a few weeks.

probably because he's more than likely a techie and not a person who would set sale prices or delivery dates. Don't beat the guy up cause he isn't giving you everything you want. PS: This guy work for AEM, right? so he can just dial an extension and get an answer for hundreds of people on this forum instead of each one of us call and wast our time and money and tie up their phones. I am sure they don't want that either. Hace you heard of productivity?

Did you ever stop and think that if AEM_Tech posts this information, he could be considered liable and be held accountable by his company? Maybe he didn't want to post the info for job security. I guess that's far beyond your ability to comprehend that.
If I worked as a tech person for a company, I would not quote prices or availability of a product. If I misstated something, I could jeopardize my job.

Man, I don't know WHERE you get your info from. The injen CAI has been dynoed with no HP gain.

I've seen THREE different msp's dynoed with no gain from the Injen.
