Advice on this stunning light display (2015 CX-5)

So I have a 2015 CX-5 and have all these lights on my dash..... I cant spend any money on it at the moment but I will be cleaning the dpf later today. Are the other lights a serious issue or are there simple fixes for this.....

On top of that, I am in limp mode and the DPF warning light has come on.

I have tried resetting the errors but they came back pretty quick.

PS. Limited funds and I have a spanner or 2

I have checked tyre pressures. All ok.
I have checked oil level. its ok.
I will be cleaning the DPF via the differential pressure switch later so will see how that goes.

Did all of this happen at the same time?

Can you get somewhere to plug in a code reader?

The scbs issue did yes but the DPF issue just happened. I have had it hooked up but i got no further and they all lit up at the same time. see report.

Coincidentally, when I got the car I decided to update all the software to newer version. The battery turned out to be dodgy and I replaced it shortly after the software update so, I dont know now (after reading something else) if the dodgy battery caused a dodgy install of software. I will reset the computer and see what happens.

Do you have a device that plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash? You said you cleared codes so I assumed you had a device or are you just pulling the battery terminal off.

You should be able to get a useful code reader/diagnostic tool for 25 pounds. On my side of the pond, many parts stores will read the codes for you, free.

I've had a dashboard like this on my previous 2013 CX-5. In my case, it turned out to be a weak battery ground. Disconnect the battery and clean the cables really good. Reconnect and secure it tight. See if it works.

A bad module can cause the canbus to glitch out also...eg if the abs module goes faulty it can drag down the rest of the communication system causing all those codes

Have you ever replace the exhaust gas pressure sensor? If not replace it with an upgraded one.
Then unblock the DPF and all will come naturally.

When the battery in my 2018 CX-5 started to die just about every light on the vehicle started flashing - headlights, tail lights, turn lights, you name it. It was at night and highly visible and quite worrisome as well. I went directly outside and disconnected the battery. The next morning, using my VOM meter the battery registered only 11.5 volts. It was obviously junk and the car did nothing when I tried to start it except go into flashing mode again. I purchased a new battery and set in on a charger for an hour (sometimes new batteries that have sat on the shelf for a bit of time can be low on charge) then installed it. All was well and I found out how the car alerts you when locked and inside. Quite the system. My 2015 Ford Taurus would start shutting down high battery drain items when it's battery got below a certain voltage - heater, infotainment center, rear defroster and go into limp mode. Alas my Mazda wouldn't even illuminate the battery warning icon until it was too late but had I been in the car at the time I'm sure I would have seen it in the cluster.

Yes, batteries on the newer cars with all the electronic gizmos are typically good for 4 years. you may get more, but on my CX5 I change them out at 4 years. Cheap insurance to not have to chase bogus codes. Now on my Scion it's going on 7 years, still tests strong surprisingly after the hot summer up here, but it's getting changed in the coming week. It's the wife's driver and I don't need any phone calls from her about the car.

I wonder if the "undefined data" is due to corruption.

Your tool can probably clear the codes but it might be tricky to figure out how. Just keep trying.
