Is this worth buying...?

Its on sale right now...And I am not sure what you can do with it.

I have no Photoshop currently..and you guys around here are always playing with pictures....and I want to play too.
I have NEVER used any photoshop nor owned anytype of program to do so.

So I am a newb to this stuff and I cant seem to find anything that will describe exactly what this is capable of doing.

Help a brotha' out.

anyone have any opinions on this....I would really appreciate the response..I hate to miss out on a good deal.

help....Seriously..No one who uses this or 6?

I need to know if this is what I am looking for...but I could use some input here guys.

You are better off saving up for the full version of Photoshop. Elements is pretty weak.

If you don't want to wait, download GIMP in the meantime. It is free and can do everything photoshop does.

How About Corel instead....It seems to be more of what i am looking for.

Photoshop is like $600...Thats ridiculous and it would never benefeit me to spend that amount on something I will merely play with.

If you're just looking at playing, I still recommend gimp. It will cost you nothing, and it offers a very robust feature set.

I'm not a big corel fan at all. I never paid full price for any edition of photoshop. I got educational pricing (and still do, I work at a University) and never paid more than $200.

I love Photoshop. I bought Photoshop CS when it came out in 2004..its somewhat old, but still amazing. Worth every penny in my book..

BGut can you do some of the editing like changing colors...swapping wheels and just genral modifications of pics that people do here..I am just curious.

^^Now were talkin'....Let me see if anyone I know locally has a copy.
DOes it matter which version?

Hey guys. It is in the site rules that the forum doesn't condone pirating software. Keep that off the boards. Go on AIM or something.
