2007~2015 Acquiring signal - SiriusXM reception problem

I've has Sirius XM in my 2010 CX-9 since I bought it new over 12 years ago. Suddenly overnight, it just says "Acquiring signal' - despite 12 years of solid performance. Whats strange is if I drive to the other side of town, it works fine! I have to drive about 10-15 miles before it works again.

Anyone experience anything like this?

I did a trial of XM for a year and found all kinds of areas where the signal got lost. The best one was when I backed up to my office, the signal was lost until I drove away from the building. It's all about the direct path to where the satellite is.
