AC finally fixed

So my AC finally got on my last nerve. Actually it just started getting too warm and I decided to get it fixed before I bake. The problem had progressed to where my AC would only work on speed 1 or 4. On 2 or 3 the light would go out, and the compressor wouldn't come on. So I took it to the stealer on Tuesday morning, of course they had to order the part (some resistor) and it was fixed by Wednesday afternoon. So I go pick it it up Thursday morning, drive off the lot, down the road, turn on the AC, and guess what? Doesn't work!!! I whip a u-turn and drive right back into the little service lane and my service advisor gives me an "uh-oh" look. I get out, show him the POS ac and he starts the ass-kissing. Well he did hook me up with a 2004 Cadillac Deville for a rental, which was sweet, and they totally replaced the entire heating/cooling module (whatever that is), and now it works fine.

On another note, they of course couldn't replicate the clutch cold shudder problem, even though he admitted to me that he had replaced over a dozen of them on Protege's in the past year...but yet they still won't admit it's a problem! Argh!!!!

Oh well, at least the AC works....
