I live in NJ.. winter is coming and stuff.. anyways.. what is the absolute best oil to use? And where should I take my car to get the oil changed... I heard mazda sometimes skimps on changing the filter. And are some filters better than others.. or are they all the same?

Right now I'm between Redline & the Royal Purple Racing, but I have another 6k miles to decide (& save up, that stuff isn't cheap :( ).

Check out Torco Racing Oils at www.torcousa.com
You can order it from me or call them to find out where is the closet dealer to you.
They make oils for all different kinds of application and automotive needs.

My buddy uses AMSOIL syn oil and filter in his 02 Subaru WRX (he's pushing a little under 300WHP). He loves the stuff.

You can buy Red Line synthetic oil in NJ at:

you could get the oil for ferrari's made by shell that costs over 70 dollars a quart, now I think that would be the best oil. :D

But for pretty much everyone mobil 1 will be the best compromise between price and good oil. AMSOIL is really good oil also but you pay for it.

Jaymode,

They are virtually the same price (if you buy them quart to quart). They are within 10 - 20 cents from eachother

Now if you buy them in that 5 gallon jug from WalMart, then you got the difference! :)

MOBIL 1

standard oil in Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Z06, AMG, etc... - NUFF SAID!!

i dont use oil is that bad..lol
