ABS and cruise control problem

2002 Protege LS - replaced LR wheel speed sensor. Both ABS and parking brake lights were on, so I voltage tested both rear speed sensors and found the LR to be bad. After replacing the LR sensor, the ABS and parking brake lights turned off, but now they continue tocome on and go off erratically. At the same time, we have a cruise control problem. The cruise does not hold a steady speed and surges erratically. Could these problems be connected??

Any ideas?
