A little help

i am about to buy a 3 and i am just starting to learn now to drive standard, how is it drive?

It's the easiest manual transmission I've ever driven. Very light and forgiving clutch and good, solid shifter.

Look around this forum and you'll find lots of similar opinions.

I taught a Japanese exchange girl to drive standard in my mazda3. Although I think the irony was lost on her. Very easy.

deffinatly one of the easiest and forgiving... tought my cousin how to drive a stick on it, only trouble parts was when he wasn't paying attention and almost hit a curb... man i was sweatin!! lol

Amen to all the comments so far... I have driven manual cars all my life (I'm 40) and the 3 is by far one of the best. Definitely THE best in its class.

took it out for a test drive today, it was real easy, getting mine less then a week
