umm bad welds i would thing would be the main problem. Having them fun would not be fun. Also the material used for the piping. im not sure what the standard thickness is for one of our headers. There are many ways for people to cut corners, epically on ebay

ya talking to my bro, he says basically the polish or coating. then the diameter of piping. But if it does start to peel or change color just get a header wrapping.... so im going cheapo ebay s*** (^:

I have one of the ebay headers and have had no problems no leaks like ppl think and helped so much with power I paid 112 to my door easy install as well

Wish you luck....the ebay 'no-name' headers are hit and miss. Some have had no issues while most have had problems with the egr tube lining up which will require modification for you to bolt it up.

well its saving me nearly $100, so a slight mod isn't too discouraging lol

ya for the 100 bucks you save you can find a SRI! has anyone taken their intake mani to a shop to have the vtcs removed? if so how much would it cost. Im pretty scared of messing it up hahah

no but i found an injen cai for $231.44 to my door, and a megan racing exhaust for $297.46 plus shipping.

No cai or sr?

I had an Injen CAI and an HKS Hiper exhuast. Not much of a difference when I removed them other than the car was quieter and got better milage. Very very slight decrease in seat of the pants feel over 5500 or so RPM

And if anyone doubts the quality of the OBX header.... Mine has over 120,000 miles and its still fine. Not pretty, but no cracks or anything.

i dunno but any intake, exhaust, headers makes a slights difference in power. just got to find the deals. Im just running a simota intake, obx headers and hks axle back exhaust.

From what I have read from other people's experience I would go....

OBX/Ractive/Thunder/Tsudo/*************** header...ebay intake (just buy a K&N or AEM filter and toss the cheap one)....Racing Beat cat back.

with our cars, get a reputable brand, which are any CTt3P5 just listed

No one gives more gains than the other really.

As in takes, the autozone one will do the same as the $200+ K&N on our motors. Just put a quality filter on the end of it

Exhausts are all personal taste on sound. Don't get a 3" is my only suggestion if staying N/A

Ok well I'd rather not spend $500+ on an exhaust, so any other cheap but still good exhaust?
