a funny story......

I was with a friend in Bartlett, TN Sunday afternoon having lunch at Steak 'N Shake. He had just flown in from N.Y. He hadn't seen my 'SPEED yet, so afterwards we were headed for a little drive in the country.

I am wearing one of my Michael Andretti Sweatshirts, and my Black MAZDASPEED hat. Our waiter is about 17 or 18 years old, I would guess: He looks at me, and my hat, and says: "Are you into racing and Import cars"? I said: "Yes - been into racing my whole life, and I have that Black MAZDASPEED sitting out there in the lot". He says: "Wow! I didn't know old guys like you got into racing and Imports"!! It was hilarious! Hey! 48 isn't that old.

We all got a good laugh, then the waiter starting talking about his 4 door Civic ('85 or so), and it was the one in the lot with the big wing (park bench), and how he was putting a CAI, and Enkei wheels on it. Kids........what are you gonna do??!!!

IN-N-OUT is my favorite, as well. Steak 'N Shake is a different style, and excellent for us here in our area. I grew up with them in INDY.
