A/C diagnosis

Sorry everyone but i could not find a thread for this generation protege. I am curious to know where if at all is the looking glass for the A/C fluid. I traced it best I could and I cannot find it.

My A/C system has not been maintained in years since i got the car. It is a 98 with a 1.8L. I rarely use air but there has been a decline in the A/C temperature. I decided to use a can of REDTEK 12a to charge it up. It did help lower the temperature. This led to other things though. While the flow of cool air has increased, it is not consistent. It seems as though it cycles on and off between cool air and the normal intake air. I thought it was always steady from what I remember.

I charged it two days ago. I went to check under the hood for another reason and i unscrewed the blue dust cap just for fun. I noticed that the low pressure valve is leaking a bit as a pressure built up there. That shouldn't happen should it? What can i do for that problem?

I know that I am going to get a gauge to verify the level for sure. The parts store was out.

I would like some peoples input if possible.
