7k or 6k?

Hi, i'd like to know if any of you have installed HIDs and what temp/color you had on you headlights.

I have a dilema of getting 7k or 6k. They any give u a hint of pupleish?

6000K is more of a bright white, 8000K gets you to a blue light, and it starts going purple at around 10000K I believe. The higher you go, the further you go towards the right of the spectrum.
 
If you're looking for purple, you'll have to go with something above 9000K. Helios has the 12000K kit which is really purple,but not as bright as the 6000 or 8000K kits.

As you go higher in temperature, you don't get as much light. More color, less light projection.

Exactly what I meant. They have the chart showing the lumens vs. intensity somewhere online.
 
I'd say stick with 6k. My personal opinion...I like those more than others.

well i have some 6000k on my car and they are great....not blue (no need) they are white with a very little hint of blue. besides the higher past 6000 you go the less light output u get......so then it becomes a question of do u want brighter lights or headlight like a car u dont have
