The extra injectors are just before the throttle body on the right hand side of this picture. They are controlled by a stand alone system called a SDS-EIC-2. My domain page has some info on the system and a link. The entire setup is only $500.00 US and requires Positive Negative Tach Signal and manifold pressure to opperate. You might also want a A/F and a EGT to tune it because you set it. Once set, there are no further settings unless some fucktart moves the dials.

the sds extra injector controller is a nice cheap alternative to a fmu that is more stabile also....

T-25 @60 Trim, Liquid Cooled Ball Berring from Garrett!! It is, perhaps the picture is decieving...

Maybe its just the angle of the picture.... because it looks pretty big. How does it spool with the piping like that?

There is nothing but 2.5 inches of mandrell bends in 304 stainless back from the turbine leading to an Apex-I N-1 Turbo exaust (4" out). The Boost threshold is around 2000 RPM with the max boost (of 12.5 Psi) building fully at 3000 RPM.

QUICK QUICK QUICK!

Seen it first hand and have had a ride in Brian's. Frickin' AMAZING setup. I just want to know where he parks it, and when he's going to be away from home for a while. *drool*

while we are on that topic of whats with, "free matty"????? I dont get it (dunno)

what are the benefits of that 5th injector?
If your car is N/A and you add a turbo, The stock fuel system will not be able to add the sometimes double fuel requirement for the turbo. You will run lean and detonate.

If your car is a Turbo car but want to increase the boost pressure...because you are adding more air, you must add more fuel or the same detonation thing happens....

Rather than changing the injectors and getting the ECU re-mapped. It is easier and often better to get a stand alone fuel system like an Extra Injector Controller.

Because with a Turbo...the extra fuel is only needed under elevated intake manifold pressures, the stock system is able to do it's thing until you reach the boost threshold. Thats when the EIC turns on and starts adding fuel. The O2 sensor tells the ECU that there is too much fuel and the stock fuel injectors are regulated to match the A/F ballance.

Some EIC's just turn on at a certain boost pressure. The one I have comes on gradually as the boost climbs. It is very responsive and so far has been rock solid.

Did that answer your question fully or do you have another question?
