5th Annual LRP Mazda Corral

Pretty cool vid for the cop dyno Chris. Sorry I missed it. Was down on the grid placing ST cars I think.

Great pics Josh. How do I dl some of them?

Some good shots Chris.

I think this is a contender for the "Most Interesting" category :P

...and no, it's not editted at all...I just missed the car.

Yay! Thank you Chris. I was hoping someone got a shot of me in action.

Gary, cool shot bro. Call it "The lost flame."

Nice pics Chris and I have to say that my wife's new screensaver at work is your shot of Dempsey. lol I'll have to check out the rest of the pics at home.

Holy crap, I just forgot until now... We had another famous quote from this year's LRP to add to the rest...

(While playing beer pong...)

"You get the beer, I'll get the balls."

LOL. It looks like he was giving me the evil eye. Its just a coincidence that he was looking my way though. I had the camera on rapid fire so this was one of about 10 shots of him not actually looking toward me. Go here for the full size image...

This guy was fun to watch. He made 2 consecutive passes between the esses. He perfected the divebomb into the turn before the no-name straight....but obviously had no quips about trading paint to gain track position. The other side of his car was mangled too.

Weaksauce

Anyone remember how the #70 Speedsource car FINISHED the 24 this year?

And, finished 6th in class. Poor thing was held together more with duct tape, ratchet straps and hope than nuts and bolts by the end of the race. It was pretty impressive.

...and a very rare sight to see. The one-of-a-kind Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina.

Yes, but only in the very early morning hours. Complete downpour. By the time Luke, Mary, and I got there it had stopped. The rest of the day was bright and sunny.
