EGR - I will just go ahead and take a informal poll here on this. For mine, I am going to try a resistor to kill the CEL. This has worked on several other cars with no problems. If it doesn't work I will ONLY offer the ACTUAL hookups. But... if I were to get the (~20 cent) resistor to work, who here would want the ACTUAL hookups for roughly 80-90 dollars upcharge?

Price - After everything (including fittings, packaging, boxes, paypal fees, shipping for the USA, etc...), it is looking like I will be able to do it for about 675-700 total if we get 20 people.

Time to renew your AMM status, Rich. :)

Please reapply as well so that I have your most recent information via the following link: VENDOR Application Forms - Updated June 1st '08!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

^^^ Awesome, I've been looking for that!

EDIT: After reading through that thread it seems people had some good results with this so I'd say just make a connection for the EGR that fits and leave people to their own devices.

come on, we want more pics from different angles!!! It looks great. Is everything fitting right so far?

Sorry guys, it got late on me. Spent 3 hours on a trip to the downtown Napa, and they didn't even have what I went for. Got stuck in a hail storm on the way back, followed by a torrential downpour. We waited it out in my buddies car under a gas station awning, and after about 20 minutes, I say "hey man, the river looks kinda like a road, we might be outta here soon". haha.

So other than that, there were a couple minor snags that I want to revise for the production run, but nothing that is keeping me from using this one. Mostly just timely setbacks, which was awesome actually considering how tight everything fit. I was half expecting a major snag that would cripple us again.

To keep from rambling on about the day and the details, here are some pics...

I need to do a few more things before I can fire it up.

Wow, it's so weird to see a Protege with a sheet metal intake manifold (now that it's all hooked up). Looks kind of funny when compared to the tubular exhaust manifold (contrast in shapes) as well. I just hope in the end it fits with my Perrin fuel rail (it sits really close to my 626 IM at the moment) as it's going to look insane! Defintely let us know how it runs!
