apparently he didn't get away unscathed.. bruises on his lungs and liver, stress fractures in several vertebrae and a small hand fracture. he's still lucky.
That's hardly ever a good thing. Rag-dolling down a table landing or a backcountry slide after going 50 feet out off a wedge is never fun. Neither are broken and sprained ankles.

Don't let the soft fluffy snow fool you-- concussions and broken bones are common. I nearly had my nose wiped off my face in an incident very similar to 0:32
lol interesting sound effects, I was doing 180's and full speed down hill by the end of my vacation in Utah, 1st time riding around age 12. Would have loved to do more, but never have gone back since.
I watch this video as an orthopaedic surgeon and I am amamzed that he didn't break his ankles, his heels, his pelvis, or his skull. He should go play the lottery while his good luck holds.
