yeah. its fucken rediculous. I have one point left on my license, im 20, male. full coverage, $500 collision decut, $50 comprehensive.

UGH TELL THE INSURANCE COMPANIES TO F*** OFF

Wow, I am impressed. One of my friends pays close to 3k. He lives in Hoboken, NJ so that raises the premium a little. You take the cake here........

I pay $629 a yr w/500 dect and full coverage on an 03' PR5. I am almost 25. I have managed to get off all three of my tickets in the past two years in MA, NH, and VT. Have gone to court numerous times but i think it is well worth it.

I have gotten 2 written warnings in the past 6 months in towns surrounding my hometown.

My girlfriend is amazed that I have not gotten into any trouble with fast driving and traffic violations. Her insurance is high from an accident that she got into 5 yrs ago.

I am not going to complain and I am sorry for your sake pdhaudio.....

Not sure of the point thing in MI, but in Mass you start off at a step 15 and either drop (which is good) or raise which is bad according to driving record. The Lowest you can be is a step 9, which I am. Now I just get a higher percent off each year I drive w/o any tickets/violations.

ya- check this out (right from inbox...)

Here is a copy of your GEICO Indemnity rate quote to hang on to.

Total Premium: $3926.50 for a 6 month policy

---> hang onto this quote? my ASS!
I'm in Grand Rapids, MI. Currently have Citizens Insurance. Funny thing is, that I'm a "preferred" driver. maybe cuz their making so much $$$ on me?! i jsut dont get it.

Weird. I was paying 1600 a year through Geico when I was 22, with a speeding ticket still on record. Now, since they've found out what the MP3 is, I pay 1700.

man i fell for you...one of my friends(or i should say his parents) had to shell out more then $3k for six months for a 1988 POS car...nothing near a p5 or mp3

Is that for 1 car or all 3 of them?
What is your accident record?
Did you want them to insure more then just the car, like added equipment?
Did you fight with God and loose?

Also if you live in or near a real s*** hole area that wil boost up insurance aswell.

I still love the fact that insurance companies are the only peopl in the country allowed to descriminate based on sex, age, color and location!

Got to love lobbiest and i guess being the primamry lender of money to the Governement doesn hurt either!

I only pay $146.00 a month = $1752 a year with a $250 deductable. On a 2001 Trans Am WS6 and the MP3. I'm married and no tickets.

Have you looked at getting a packaged insurance deal? i.e., if you rent an apartment or purchased a condo, you should be able to get a decent Renters/Homeowners and Auto Insurance package. I've probably saved US $1500 a year just by doing that.

Lucky you can get auto only insurance. Here in NJ it's impossible to buy automobile insurance, and insurance companies will screw you.

First they'll send you a letter that they'll drop you (which is illegal but who has the time to fight them in court?), then you have only 4 weeks to find new insurance. But because so many auto insurers don't want new customers, but NJ laws require them to provide insurance, many insurance companies make it as painful as possible to get insurance, like, "We'll snail mail you a form, fill it out, snail mail it back, and you'll hear from us in 6 weeks after we receive your application" which is total BS. I was calling every single stinking auto insurer in this state and got the same response until someone told me about insurance packages. Good luck to you all in your fight to get better insurance rates.

Thanks 1st MP3 in NH.

Off the subject how's your BEGI holding up. Any major problems.
I''m wanting to buy a turbo for the MP3 when I get my taxes back.
