No I didn't touch it at all.Fast lane said:fOCUS..
yOUR RUNNING THE iON Exhaust right,? did you modify it when you made 296..? I think i may have some issues with the down pipe.
I don't know what you are saying, the downpipe is split. Here is the picture you posted.:Fast lane said:Well there are 2 things im concerned about there is no real divider between the wastegate path and tthe wheel /exhaust flow, this is going to cause alot of turbulence at around 400hp,2nd...the pipe for the exhaust flow is only like 2inches and thats where all the power has to get sqeezed through. I dunno we'll try it and see what happens..By the way i saw nick working on your tranny.

Let me do you one better. The exhaust is good, but definately NOY worth the money Jack charges. I understand what you mean by divider, if you are worried, ask nick to weld a little piece on the flange to divide it up.Fast lane said:Yes i know its split but it does not really divide the wastegate opening from the wheel opening because there about3/4 inch in b/w the down pipe and the the turbo , what im saying is that divider does not go all the way to the turbo to give to seperate paths, and yes and external wastegate and new mani may be in the picture if we hit a wall with the exhaust flow. i tryed to explain this my best, but dont get me wrong this exhaust was worth the money, I just think i personally may have a problem but only time will tell.
I will be doing some type of rework on it. I think the cost is good. I like the way the system is made, outside of the turbo flange.Focus said:Let me do you one better.
