I got 468miles on 12.784gallons driving straight from Cali to Washington state!! All i had was a Injen CAI, doing about 70-75mph maybe 80mph couple times. This was about 3yrs ago. I have an MP3

i thought our tank was 14.5 also...BUT about a 2 weeks ago i filled up the car from being pretty much dry it was like 14.7 or 14.8...so idk

I have drove with the Light on for about 40-50miles extra it was right on the Line!! Filled it all the way back up and it only took about 14.2xxgallon's so idk how u got 14.7-14.8gallon's. Plus when the Gas light turn's on u got about 2gallon's left in the tank!!(confused)

I have actually ran out of gas before in the MP3 once, as i was on my way to the gas station "i notice my car started to bog then died"!!.....LOL

Are you stock or no?
Injen CAI; Racing Mazda 4/2/1 header and midpipe, no cats, Magnaflow CB and 22"x5" resonator; 60mm OBTB; RR-Racing UDP, MP3-flashed ECU, Denso iridiums. 118 whp, 122 lb/ft torque on Dynojet. Every mod dynoed on same unit.

I don't baby it and no, Toucci, I didn't refill the tank; I regularly pull 35+-37+ mpg at 5280 feet. Denver.

Tank is spec'd at 14.5. I've gotten just over 15.1 in it a few times--filler neck capacity to absolute top up. I routinely fill it with 14.7-14.9 gallons.

I don't recommend running over 14.8-14.9; you're running on fumes.

gino, do you think switching from high performance 215 width tires to the hard stock 195s will help my mileage much? I know economy cars run skinny tires to get better mileage but I wonder how much difference it makes

I got a new personal best last Friday night.

Bowled a 173 :p

damn that's good.

i just got 370 miles on 12.2gallons = 30.32mpg (even though i have an MSP....heheh)
