Well, I took it to the dealer at 8am today and they called me at 3:45pm and said that they had to replace one of the O2 sensors. I asked what would cause the sensor to fail and they said that the only code was for a bad O2 and that it was probably a bad sensor from the factory. I then asked about the updating of the ECU and they had no idea what I was talking about. They did know about a faulty valve that almost all the 07s had and a few early 08s but they checked mine and I have the newer version already. They said they check all the Speed3s for the older sensor before they leave from a sale. My cowl squeak was a missing something or other on the outside trim. They wanted to keep my car over night so they could do a cold start tomorrow morning at 6:30am when the service guys first get in. They said they are going to start it and drive it for 1 mile and then park it and leave it idling for a good 15 minutes. They did test it out today but wanted the cold 20* AM weather to be a better test. If it was a faulty O2 then why would they need to test the car in the AM? I think there is something else going on with this car.
