well i guess i want to drag and street race on a safe empty back road. i want to run 13.5 or better better would be better but i will settle for 13.5. so far all i have is hiboost fmic, spool cai, spool turbo back with hks exhuast, and turbo xs boost controller

get some type of ems whether it be an afc, unichip or some other type but i would get that especially since your upping the boost.

I would do fully programable, Microtech or Haltech or whatever you want.

If you want 280whp, internals will be needed, so why risk the forged internals with the stock ecu and stock turbo setup. Go standalone, turbo upgrade and forged internals and you are done.

Of course you can squeeze some more power out of lower boost but it will require more $$ to spend.

My combination will be: Microtech LT10s, T03 stage3 .63 on exhaust and T04E .60 on the compressor, Oliver Rods and 8.5:1 CP pistons, big intercooler, 2 blowoffs and I think this can give me 300whp without headwork @ 17-20psi

you will need con rods if you want to go over 250whp daily. Other than that, there are too many variables to give you an exact answer. Tell us what you want out of the car (autoX, drag, street etc) and we can give you some ideas on how to get there. If ou are going for drag you will definately want a bigger turbo, autoX you may just want to raise compression and boost the stock turbo providing you have 92+ octane etc. 10:1 + boost is great.

Rich (505zoom) being the exception to the rule.

Its all in the tuning and your driving habits/maintenance record etc etc.

With an MBC, good exhaust, MPI "tuned", colder plugs, intake, and enough boost you could come close to 250WHP. Now how reliable it will be is all over the place. Some will just Boom and some will just Zoom...
