I need to get an oil change next week, and at the end of March will mark my first year with the car. I am thinking about getting the 12 month service with this oil change. I only have 14000km on the car and it seems like a waste to get $200++ worth of service despite the low miles. Should I just stop whining and follow the maintenance schedule religiously or would it hurt to wait until my next oil change to get the service done (16 months)? I go by time for my oil changes since I don't drive enough to reach the miles.
Also, do you guys go to the dealership for all regular maintenance? There is a garage (fountain tire) right beside where I work so it would be nice if I could go to them instead with the maintenance schedule and tell them what I want done. I am trying to compare prices between the two but so far the dealership hasn't gotten back to me.
