Its pretty clear to me I do not understand TJA and am more confused after reading the manual. My understanding is that this functionality works with i-Activesense in traffic jams.

This is my experience. When cruise control is inactive with no white or green MRCC icon displayed the TJA amber icon will appear between the lane assist lines in the HUD, if I begin to drift toward the edge of the lane. If I drift a little further the lane assist alert will go off. The amber TJA icon appears in the HUD, between the lane assist lines, as the car drifts toward the lane edge with no traffic, while traveling 70mph, perfect weather. It almost appears to be a pre-alert that I am drifting toward the edge of the lane. No cars anywhere in sight traveling at highway speeds. The manual states this functionality is for traffic jams?

The manual states: For the purposes of safety, switch the TJA off when it is not being used. I dont see any way to turn TJA on/off. I dont have MRCC enabled. I have looked through settings. Also tried pressing the "mode on" button on the steering wheel multiple times to see if it would toggle between MRCC and TJA. How do I turn it on and off?

Perhaps the amber steering wheel between the lane assist lines in the HUD is NOT the TJA icon? If thats the case then what does that amber steering wheel icon indicate? It is NOT the amber steering wheel with the (!) that indicates a problem with power steering.

After reading further I think what I am seeing is steering wheel operation assist:
Steering Wheel Operation Assist When the system determines that the vehicle might be deviating from its lane, the steering wheel operation assist operates. The system notifies (amber) the driver that it provided steering wheel operation assistance on the multi-information display and the active driving display.
